The Universe is a magical place for human expression and our lives can be surprisingly synchronistic provided we open a window, a door or a mind to the clues and magic that are in our world every minute.
Unfortunately, so many lives resemble the likes of Bill Murray’s character in the movie Groundhog Day, repeating patterns that equal a life without passion, joy or purpose. Remember, the definition of insanity: “Doing the same things over and over expecting different results.” It is important to realize that the same actions will always provide the same results.
Throughout the next 11 months we will be discussing how you can have the life you really want. I invite you to return each month as we share Universal Clues to assist you in the experience of a synchronistic life.
To begin your manifestation of magic, consider the following and often challenging statement which I frequently offer my clients; “If you want something different in your life, you must be willing to do something different.”
Join us as we explore simple yet powerful actions to enhance your life.
If you are willing to take action to create something different in your life, my promise is that your life will be filled with Fun, Purpose and Wonder.
Awaken the wisdom, magic and wonder within you today and every day.
Universal Clue: Detachment
You cannot invite the life you want if the vessel that is you – is full. To begin clearing out and activating the universal clue of detachment take the following three action steps…
1)Set an intention for your day. Upon awakening each day and before your feet hit the floor; imagine one positive thing you can do for the day. Make it so that it will bring fulfillment upon review at the completion of your day. And like the Nike ad suggests, JUST DO IT… TODAY.
2)Find one small thing you can clear out (or large thing if you are on the fast track to creating the life you want). It can be a purse, wallet, junk drawer, glove box in car, a closet, a section in the garage and clear it out before the end of the day. This creates space which becomes a vacuum for what you really want. Feel free to give stuff away.
Ask, Do I need it? Do I really want it? Have I used it in the past year?
If the answer is no, pass it on. Someone who loves it will add new and vibrant energy to the items that have become dust collectors for you.
3)Review the events of your day. Each night as you rest your head on your pillow, review your day as you would a movie on fast-forward. And you are not reviewing in order to give yourself a grade. The review is done with ZERO judgment. Be an observer. Release the day. Following the review and before you drift into peaceful sleep think of two things in your life that you are grateful for.
You are on your way!
Next month we will be looking at the Universal Clue of Least Effort. We will review how balanced our life is (or not). Steven Covey said “Most people climb the ladder of success only to find they are leaning on the wrong wall.”
Life balance is what allows us the benefit of living a fun-filled life with the least amount of Effort.
